An introduction to dance, songs and percussions from Senegal, for adults, adolescents and children of all ages.
Traditional rhythms and techniques of Senegalese music.
The principle of the workshop is to have, through these three media (song, dance, percussion), a playful approach and a collective experience of African culture.
These workshops revolve around a collective dynamic and the pleasure of bodily expression. A few songs (call & response), a few steps & movements, a few rhythmic breaks will be proposed and explained. This workshop is based on the traditional repertoires that accompany Senegalese life.
